The joy of the window seat

The Joy of the window seat
There’s something quietly magical about the window seat on a plane.
It’s best 10mm of scratched plastic in the whole world.
You’re the master of the view
Clouds become candyfloss kingdoms, cities shrink into glittering circuit boards.
And when the sun sets, it smears the sky like melted crayons.
It’s not just travel, it’s your own private cinema in the sky.
It’s a built-in daydream machine. One glance out and your thoughts start to drift.
No inbox.
No small talk.
Just you, the sky and a head full of ideas.
Then there’s your private bubble.
No elbows. No trolley bashed knees.
A priceless wall to lean on.
A cocoon where you can vanish into your sweatshirt and sip overpriced tomato juice in peace.
You’re king of the shade game.
Up. Down. Halfway.
Blinding sunbeams or cinematic gloom.
Total power.
But more than all that it’s wonder.
Flying still feels like magic when you see the wing slice through cloud.
That feeling sneaks up on you.
Unexpected, unfiltered and unforgettable.
It’s perspective.
From up here, your to-do list looks small.
That email? Whatever. That awkward meeting? Gone.
The world is wide, wild and wonderful and the window seat, for a few hours reminds you of just that.
This joyful lift is what I aim for in every brand I create.
Not just clarity or beauty, but Wonderment.
That little spark of surprise, awe and joy.
The sense that, even for a moment, you’ve been lifted above the noise.
Brands should feel like that.
Like a window seat.
Elevated. Joyful. Full of possibility.
The glorious opposite of how the middle seat feels.
